Topic of concern:

1. Insufficient daily board rates for children in all categories of foster family homes.
2. Decreased importance and value of Therapeutic Foster Care.
3. Inadequate statewide training for county Department of Human Resources foster care staff.
4. Inadequate individual and child specific training for all foster parents.
5. Lack of adequate adoption subsidies provided for children with emotional and physical needs who have an opportunity to be adopted by foster parents.
6. Lack of consistent statewide compliance by DHR to the Foster Parent Bill of Rights.
